After a long break we did some character and sequential studies. Sion always has a strong sense of rhythm and `line' through his poses, and so I felt it would be interesting to see him do something willfully awkward. I asked him to try three `zombie' poses, which are the top three. These are followed by two sets of three sequential poses. All of these are 3-minute studies, done with medium compressed charcoal on 18 x 24" sheets of bond paper.
