3rd entry for Apr 2, 2012



(Figure drawing and perspective classes of mine are starting at the Toronto School of Art in the next week or so - it's not too late to sign up!)

These are two 30-minute studies above and a 15-minute one below.  P-   only posed for 15 minutes of the top one, and during his break I continued with the Rodin statue and the background. I was impressed by how animated a piece of bronze the Rodin is, when you put a living body near it.
These are all done with graphite. The middle one is on an 18 x 24" sheet of Maidstone with a charcoal underlay in differing values. the top and bottom ones are on the same size sheets of Canson Recycled Sketch paper.
