4th entry for October 27, 2009






These were 5-minute poses, done after the mid-session break, when the equipment was shifted to a hoop.

Very creative use of props! The first drawing is my favorite.

As well asa being an airborne place of support, the steel hoop is a real framing device. And a strong compositional element.
If you click on the `hoop' tag you can see how others have posed on and around it.
It can't be easy either- imagine you are staying for 5 minutes with your back resting on a rigid steel tube wrapped with friction tape. It would be like lying on a bicycles crossbar....
